Manali

Manali, a cosmopolitan town, has people from various parts of the world settled for decades. It is located in Kullu, mythologically known as the "Valley of the Gods". Manali is divided into two subtowns - Old and New, just like Delhi. New Manali is like the bedroom of Manali, while Old Manali being the Living Room. The restaurants and pubs give you a feel that you would get only in Goa.
It was a 4 day trip. We stayed in Old Manali and visited nearby places daily. Rohtang Pass was closed due to landslides.

With a good camera, you can easily get a job at a Postcard Design company !

Sweet Dreams

Rohtang Pass and Chandra-Tal Lake are close to Manali and provide a good trek to tourists.

Conference Call

Escalating our way for Para-gliding

Making our way down the slope to the Para-gliding spot.

It was very slippery. Without proper shoes, it would have been very difficult downhill.

Our Para-gliding instructor had worked there for over a decade now.

And we are there ...

Lot goes into gearing and harnessing one properly before throwing them off the cliff ;)

Ready. Set. Go !

Free Bird

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's me :P

One of the best Restaurants. You can also find the same only in Goa.

PEOPLE

PEOPLE - Customers make drawings and the most interesting ones get to appear on the walls.

The Hookah/Sheesha here, was pretty cool !
